Northumberland Wild Play at Spittal Beach
Families came down to Spittal beach as part of the Wild Play Week. Even though there were some clouds we still had to wear sun cream to prevent sun burn. About 50 people took part in Berwick in July. |

Family Fun days, 17th and 25th August
More than 350 people enjoyed robot wars, face painting, jewellery making, mask making, outdoor fun, family fun and games, family football, wall climbing and ice cream in the lovely warm sunshine! |

Pride in Prior
Extended Services took part in a multi agency week of activites in Prior Park. Pictured are some families watching a fire service demonstration of how not to put a chip pan fire out. Prior Park school grounds were lent for the occasion. Other agencies taking part were Community Police, Berwick Bourgh Housing, Sure Start, Berwick Youth Project, Northumberland Stars amongst others. Alan Beith opened the event. |

Climbing Wall
The MOD brought thier climbing wall to our summer family fun day on 25th August and were inundated with local young people, many of whom won a mug for managing to get to the top. Well Done! |

Practising Circus Skills on Pedalows at Spittal School
Mini Mansell visited Berwick and worked with families at Spittal and The Grove Schools and The Maltings. |

Perfect Picnic
Tyne and Wear Museums, Sure Start, Ford and Etal Estates and Extended Services worked together to provide a perfect picnic day at Easter. Transport was provided to take families from Lowick, Cornhill and Berwick to Heatherslaw Mill and Lady Waterford Hall. There was a tour of the mill and dressing up clothes provided by Tyne and Wear museums. Bread making with playdoh, a picnic outside and an afternoon being a museum detective at Ford.

Robot Wars at Border Green Festival
Proved to be a big hit with everybody and will be back again on 27th October at Berwick High School in the sports hall. |

Rock School
Students from Tweedmouth Community Middle School and Berwick Community High School took the chance of learning to be rock stars for the night at the O2 Academy in Newcastle. Rehearsals took place at St. Aidan's Hall in Church Street where people learnt about stage presentation, playing musical instruments and vocals. |

Share Course to run Berwick again
Healthy SHARE courses for parents who enjoy helping their children to learn from everyday things are running in the Berwick area.
